About Me
Hello, my name is Amanda. I have had the pleasure of being surrounded by animals throughout my entire life, particularly always having 2 cats in my household. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Biology from SFSU in 2022 and have experience as a volunteer in shelter medicine. I have gained extensive experience in professional pet care, providing cat and dog-sitting services for over thirty clients. Additionally, I have taken on the responsibility of fostering animals of differing ages and breeds. My expertise extends beyond general care, as I am proficient in administering medications to pets through methods such as oral, topical, and injection-based.
I offer flexible availability throughout the week and am currently employed on a part-time basis at an animal shelter. My long-term career goals involve pursuing a degree in veterinary medicine and becoming a small animal veterinarian. Ultimately, I aspire to establish my own animal shelter in an underserved area, where access to animal care may be limited.
